Fall is the most stressful time of a calf’s life due to several factors.  Right now, calves 45 days weaned are bringing over $100.00 a head premium.  Now is the time to give preweaning shots of IBR and Pasteurella, with a booster again at weaning with same shots.  45 days or 60 days weaned will give you 10 times more interest from the buyers at the sale.
